The General Paediatrics Unit at Joms Care Hospital forms the backbone of the Centre of Child health. The Unit comprises both Out-patient Department and In-patient Department and offers the following services: Well Baby Clinic, Immunization Devices, Growth and Developmental Clinic, Inpatient Department (IPD) Services. A team of paediatric intensivists and nurses staffs the Neonatal ICU with training in the care of critically ill newborn babies. A full range of services are available including pulse oxymetry for measuring oxygen saturation in the blood, heart and blood pressure monitoring, assisted ventilation, and phototherapy for jaundice.
